Information and Registration

Join the hundreds of cyclists in the 3rd annual Steaming Nostril cycling event. From the seasoned racer to the first time rider, this is the ride for you! Awards for the top overall male & female racers and medals to the top 3 in each age group. Chances are good that you’ll ride by Old Order Mennonites driving horse and buggies on their way to Sunday services. The clip-clop of hooves will briefly drown out the zing of bike chains connecting you to this unique region of Ontario. You’ll ride past historic buildings in the small, quaint towns of the region.

A Canadian Spring Classic and part of the “King of the Spring” Series!

Cyclocross, mountain bikes, single speeds and hybrid bikes are recommended. The 69km Steaming Nostril course consists of 60% farm and dirt roads, 35% rail trail and 5% paved road. The course is a loop route that starts and ends at Woolwhich Community Centre in St Jacobs. If you really want to ride in this spring classic but are challenged by the distance of Steaming Nostril we have set up the new, shorter 35 km “Runny Nose” event.
